Mommy is my Bestest Friend Ever

Avery has her times where all she wants is daddy, but you can tell who her best buddy is...Momma! They can communicate with each other in ways that Maxx and I can't even begin to figure out. Becca understands Averish perfectly and can carry on a conversation with her in it. Its really funny! I'll try to post some video clips of mommy and her laughing together, it's great!

We love to go outdoors!

Here's a pic from early Thanksgiving with Jamie's fam. We all went on a hike in the woods after we gorged ourselves. The pic with our hats on is from a retreat up in Michigan we went on with our small group. We went for a hike on our own. Can you see Avery's lil' smile and eyes - it's almost mischevious looking!

1-2-3 JUMP! down the slide

We go up the hill to a small park now that it's getting cold and this park is the closest. Avery loves it b/c she can get up and down the playset all by herself. Maxx will run up there sometimes with her, but he doesn't dig the slides much, (unless we push him).

Hanging out with daddy, doing what he does

I was brushing my teeth one night and Avery saw me, so she got up on the sink and started doing the same. Now if anyone is brushing their teeth, she cries for her toothbrush so she can do the same. She'll crack up when Daddy gargles and then she'll pretend to spit in the sink. All she really does right now is eat the yummy kids toothpaste. Won't our dentist be proud.

Okay, so I'm standing by the door talking to Becca eating my popsicle which I gave half to Avery. During our conversation, Avery comes over and poses exactly the way I'm standing and mom snaps the picture at the perfect moment. Talk about cute!
